Perfectly Imperfect

Phoenix has about six scars slashed on her stomach, and three more on her right arm. When she was fifteen before she joined G.U.N (four years after she left the foster home optionally to live life on the streets with her best friend Eve) she and her partner Eve got involved with some illegal 'gang' posing as a incorporation alike to G.U.N. Needless to say, it was not a very nice place and they treated their 'favourite' agents with somewhat of tough love; very tough love.

Since Eve and Phoenix both hold a power of an element, they were one of the 'favourite' posing agents. So they got beat up at times, but Phoenix never took it as serious as Eve, who after some time realised that this wasn't okay. Phoenix felt as if she deserved it for running off to lead a life as a anti-hero when she had a family to go back to- but she didn't think Eve who didn't even know she had a family deserved it, so as a result Phoenix would offer to take more beating than Eve when the 'head agents' decided they needed to let off some steam. They didn't really know any better.

She did this because she felt Eve didn't deserve it and she just wanted to be a good friend.

Usually it was just bruises and minor cuts, but one time it got a little too violent and so Phoenix was scarred on her stomach and arm. Had the largest scar on her stomach be a few inches lower it would of permanently damaged one of her ovaries.

Soon after Eve and Phoenix turned sixteen they left the gang (secretly) and then were underneath the protection of G.U.N, who had the posing incorporation put away and then Phoenix and Eve joined G.U.N.

The scars Phoenix has have been canon for like, almost two years now? I just never knew how to introduce them and felt I couldn't just slap them on her in some
random picture not even related to how she got them so blah also I wanted to draw her hair curly so I did.

Phoenix needs more character depth so I finally did it

Besides from loving chicken and Rouge and Ebony and Eve AND EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING she has so much love

Seriously though- I'm not saying I don't like it when people say Phoenix is pretty and all that (honestly I've always wanted Phoenix's design to come across as pretty so idm) but I don't know, I think because she's considered pretty she should have her visible imperfections to give like some kind of story behind her. That Phoenix isn't just a pretty face and people will be interested in knowing how she got scars etc etc. It just makes her more interesting <3

She isn't particularly scared of people seeing them, it depends on whether people like men or boys look at her 'that way' because then she gets self conscious and is like "wtf no no rouge hide me no what no" but generally doesn't care, though sometimes she gets a little wistful and thinks she could of handled the situation better- mostly when shes on her own (like in this picture).
